SWC-K cruise into 18th DSA Trophy football tournament final

IMPHAL, Sep 27 : Social Welfare Club, Keirak (SWC-K) cruised into the final of the 18th DSA Trophy Football Tournament with a 5-1 thrashing of YWU, Kakching today at DSA Kakching playground.
Th Tomba opened the scoring for YWU but Th Yaiphaba scored thrice to set up a huge comeback and a 5-1 win for SWC-K this afternoon.
The two sides started cautiously and fended off one another until Th Tomba converted a fine chance and gave YWU the lead after 38 minutes. Th Yaiphaba however drew level for SWC-K in the 43rd minute to enter into the break on level terms.
After the restart, SWC-K overturned the lead through M Niranjan in the 75th minute before K Dingkal stretched the lead to 3-1 after 76 minutes.  Th Yaiphaba then quickfired two goals back to back in the 80th and the 85th minutes to complete the 5-1 thrashing of YWU.
