Imagi Meira fixes responsibilities on SA, DG

IMPHAL, Sep 27 : The Imagi Meira has asked Security Advisor Kuldiep Singh and DGP Rajiv Singh to take full responsibility if Kuki militants continue their hostility after September 28.
Speaking to the media at Manipur Press Club today, Imagi Meira convenor Th Sujata said that people in uniform should not meddle in politics as it will be detrimental to the society.
She said that Kuldiep Singh making contradictory statements on over 900 Kuki militants entering Manipur was unprofessional.
Notably, Kuldiep Singh had on September 20 stated that intelligence report on hundreds of Kuki militants infiltrating Manipur was true but the same report was retracted  by the State Government on September 25.
Saying that the Security Advisor and the DGP must take responsibility for all eventualities that may take place after September 28, she demanded that Kuldiep Singh and Rajiv Singh should resign if they cannot take the responsibility.
She, meanwhile, said that the State Government not taking any action to 10 Kuki MLAs who have demanded disintegration of Manipur till now is questionable.
