Ruda Academy team feted

THOUBAL, Sep 26: Ruda Academy players who have won the Under-14 Football Championship 2024, organised by the CBSE North East Guwahati Region, were given a warm welcome at the school at Thoubal today.
Ruda Academy Thoubal founder secretary Elangbam Sachi Singh, Principal in-charge H Somorendro Singh and Boarding Superintendent N Basna Singh attended the felicitation ceremony as presidium members.
Teachers and students of the school, and guardians attended the event.
Founder secretary Elangbam Sachi said the school team winning the championship is a great achievement and the school is proud of them.
Sachi dedicated the success of the team to the students and support of the guardians and teachers.
Ruda Academy Thoubal beat host NPS 3-1 in a penalty shootout to bag the title. Ruda Academy Thoubal also bagged the awards including the Best Goal Keeper, Best Scorer, Best Team Coach and Best Manager.
