NPP sets the stage for key meet today

IMPHAL, Sep 26 : MLAs and executive members of National People's Party (NPP) have flown  to Guwahati today to attend a key meeting of the party which is scheduled to take place tomorrow.
It is reported that legislators and executives of the party which is a coalition partner of the Manipur Government will discuss the unrest besieging the State and the prevailing law and order situation.
Most of the NPP MLAs, those who contested the 2022 Assembly election on the party's ticket and executives including former Deputy Chief Minister landed in Guwahati today.
NPP Manipur State unit president cum Tadubi  AC MLA N Kayisii and Kshetrigao AC MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan, however, won't attend the meeting as they are on medical leave.
Meanwhile, tomorrow's meeting which will be held at Hotel Radisson Blu will be presided by party president cum Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma.
Notably, NPP won seven seats in the 2022 Assembly election.
