Pro boxer SM Alifast feted

THOUBAL, Sep 24 : Professional boxer SM Alifast was accorded a warm reception yesterday on his return after winning the national champion title as well as the best boxer title on September  at the Prime Pro Boxing Promotion held in Gohana, Haryana.
Alifast won the title in the 61 kg category competition of the professional boxing event organised by Indian Boxing Council (IBC).
Alifast, son of Md Kayamuddin of Phundrei Awang Leikai in Thoubal district, was warmly received by his family members and local supporters yesterday upon his arrival at the Imphal International Airport.
Alifast had also recently won a gold medal at the Prime Pro Boxing Promotion National Championship 2024 organised by IBC.
