PLA's raising day observed

IMPHAL, Sep 25: The Revolutionary People's Front celebrated the 46th raising day of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) today.
The PLA General headquarters, its Tactical Command, Strategic Command, 252 Mobile Battalion and all its units and divisions under the Central Bureau commemorated the day by raising the party flag and paying floral tributes to martyrs.
RPF's acting president MM Ngouba addressed the people of the State on the occasion and called on all communities coexisting together since time immemorial to unite and prosper as one.
The People's Liberation Army's Division-8 observed the 46th raising day at a place in Thoubal district.
During the observance, the acting president's message to the people was read out to the gathering.
Senior members of the party and its workers were presented with gifts and appreciated on the occasion.
