Charan FC to meet Yairipok FC in 3rd Paona Memorial Football final

IMPHAL, Sep 23 : Charan FC will face off against Yairipok FC in the title clash of the 3rd Paona Memorial 9-A-side Football Tournament final.
Charan FC  edged out Saruk FC by 2-1 goals in the second semi-final match to reach the final at EEO ground, Lamding.
Saruk FC enjoyed a 1-0 first half lead thanks to Muhadish's 13th minute strike but Nepo and Lenin scored back to back in the 53rd and the 58th minutes to turn things around and hand Charan FC a 2-1 win.
Yairipok FC entered into the final with a 2-0 win over Endeavour FC yesterday in the first semi-final match.
