District membership seminar held

IMPHAL, Sep 22 : Rotary Club of Imphal and Rotary Club of Polo City Imphal jointly hosted the District Membership Seminar 'Anandadhara' at Classic Grande in Chingmeirong, Imphal East on Sunday.
The seminar was graced by District Governor, Sukhminder Singh; DGN, Dr Asim Kanti Adhikari; PDG , Rajesh Agarwal and DMC, Arindam Dutta as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, Sukhminder Singh said that Rotary International is one of the largest service organizations in the world, with over 1.9 million members and 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries.
He continued that the mission of Rotary is to provide service to others, promote peace, fight disease, and improve the world through service, integrity & goodwill.
Sukhminder also asserted that Rotary International needs more members to provide more support for Rotary Foundation programs that improve communities and bring new ideas, perspectives, and energy to the clubs. Later, an 'Anandadhara' souvenir was also released.
