Legal awareness cum interactive programme held for IDPs

The District Legal Services Authority, Chandel under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority and National Legal Services Authority organized a one day “Legal Awareness cum Interactive Programme” at the relief camps of Tengnoupal district.
The programme was attended by Masana E Panmei, MJS, secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Chandel as chief guest accompanied by Fakhrul Islam Choudhury, MJS, Judicial Magistrate First Class, Moreh.
Meanwhile, Jacky Lucy, Retainer Lawyer, District Legal Services Authority, Chandel was present as the resource person, said a statement issued by Masana E Panmei, secretary DLSA Chandel.
The programme focused on providing legal awareness and sensitization about free legal aid and assistance under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 to the inmates currently housed in the relief camps in the district.
