SWC-K in 18th DSA Trophy semis

IMPHAL, Sep 20 : Social Welfare Club, Keirak (SWC-K) entered into the semifinals of the 18th DSA Trophy Invitation football tournament with a 2-0 quarterfinal victory over KYWAC, Wabagai Kadajit today at DSA ground.
SWC-K enjoyed a slender 1-0 first half lead courtesy of H Krishnakanta (22') before M Niranjan (56') hit the decisive goal in the second half.
The second quarter final between YWU and SDO earlier scheduled on September 21 has been rescheduled on September 22 at the same venue owing to Statewide general strike.
