PAWF urges State, Centre to bring peace; concludes expedition

Responding to yesterday's attack at Koutruk and Kadangband launched by Kuki militants, the Patriotic Writers Forum (PAWF) Manipur has asserted that the State and Central Government should work to end the Manipur crisis before a civil war breaks out in the State.
Rakesh Naorem, secretary PAWF Manipur made the statement at the Agartala Airport right before leaving for Manipur today after the 12-member PAWF team concluded their trip tracing the Meeteis who have settled in Assam, Tripura and Meghalaya.
The PAWF secretary strongly condemned the attack and further proceeded to give a brief account of the places and people visited by the team during their 11-day trip across the three Northeastern States.
