MKS appeals for early completion of Maram-Peren Road

Senapati, Sep 9: Maralui Karalimei Swijoikang (MKS) or the Maram Students Union has appealed the concerned authorities for early completion of the ongoing construction  work along NH-129A (Maram-Peren Road).
A press release issued by the Information & Publicity of the Maralui Karalimei Swijoikang (MKS) has firmly appealed to the construction companies and authorities responsible for the Maram-Peren Road, Highway No 129A in this regard.
With the 42nd MKS Conference approaching and set to be held in January, 2025 at Willong Khullen, MKS asserted that it is imperative that the road construction be completed without further delay.
The student body has urged all involved parties to work with diligence and urgency to ensure that the project is finished in a timely manner and with uncompromised quality.
Additionally, the release stated that the MKS will not accept substandard work or excuses for delays.
It stated that the road (NH-129A) is not only crucial for the upcoming conference but completion of the road construction work is also a vital development for the region.
Notably, MKS called for regular quality inspections while adding that any lapses in the standard will be dealt with seriously.
Furthermore, the student body has issued a stern warning to any individual or group attempting to interfere in the ongoing construction.
"Any obstruction or disruption to the work will be met with strict action. This project is not the responsibility of any one person but is for the collective progress of the society and land. Interference will be treated as an attack on the development of the community and will not be tolerated under any circumstance", the release mentioned.
Thus, the MKS has called upon all sections of society to extend their cooperation and allow the work to proceed smoothly.
It mentioned that the student body will make sure that obstacles are addressed swiftly and those responsible for disturbances will be held accountable.
