Senapati FC win Super Division Football League title

Senapati, Aug 27: Senapati FC emerged the champions of the Super Division District Football League that concluded today.
The top tier league tournament was organised by the District Sports Association (DSA) Senapati in collaboration with the Senapati District Olympic Association, Manipur (SDOAM) from August 16 last.
The last day of the 6-team league tournament saw Chawang Brothers FC playing Senapati FC abd and Senapati FC (R) taking on Atletico D Karong FC.
At the end of the five rounds, Senapati FC emerged on top of the league table as Chawang Brothers FC finished runners up.
Individual awards including golden ball, golden boot and golden glove were extended to Daveikho of  Senapati FC, Ava Hrai of Senapati FC (Reserve) and Ringphiubou Dimai of Chawang Brothers FC.
Meanwhile, SDOAM announced that the 1st Division District Football League will soon start again from September 3. 6 different football clubs will reportedly play till September 9 next.
Football clubs that will be playing in the 1st Division football league include Makuilongdi FC, Willong FC, Ratung FC, Tamuilong FC, Purul FC and FC Katumsiim.
