Dr Narayan's team presents paper at World Congress

IMPHAL, Jul 8 : Dr Kshetrimayum Narayan, president, Manipur University Teachers' Association and Veronica Okram, Research Scholar, Department of Sociology, Manipur University presented a paper entitled, "Online Game and Mind Vigour" at the 2nd World Congress held at Tokyo Gakugei University, Tokyo, Japan from July 5-8, 2024.
The 2nd World Congress was organised by International Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Dance, and Sport.
The paper entitled "Online Game and Mind Vigour" was jointly written by Dr Kshetrimayum Narayan, Veronica Okram and Prof N Tejmani Singh, Head, Department of Commerce, Manipur University.
Notably, the presentation highlighted the pros & cons of online games to students; and the physical, social, mental & economic impact of online games.
The presentation also critically assessed whether excessive online gaming is connection to Mind Vigour glitches such as lack of motivation, poor emotional regulation, interpersonal conflict and suicidal thoughts.
