ESU, UPAA emerge victorious

IMPHAL, Jul 18: The Eastern Sporting Union (ESU) and the United Progressive Adults' Association (UPAA) beat Imphal FA and XI Star Sporting Union Akampat respectively in today's league matches of the 3rd AMFA Cup 2023-24 at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

United Progressive Adults' Association (UPAA) beat XI Star Sporting Union Akampat 2-0.
ESU vs Imphal FA: The match witnessed an early setback for Imphal FA as its player P Ngaoveisa scored an own goal in the 17th minute. Riding on the advantage, ESU's Lamjingba Maibam scored a goal in the 82nd minute to end the match 2-0 against Imphal FA.
UPAA vs XI Star Sporting Union: Blessing Keishing scored the first goal of the match for UPAA in the 34th minute. Chingkham Roshan Singh added another goal in the 61st minute to give UPAA a 2-0 lead.
