Help us in buying feeds for ponies, MP&PPWA to CM

IMPHAL, Jul 18 : The Manipuri Pony & Polo Player's Welfare Association (MP&PPWA) has appealed to Chief Minister N Biren Singh to assist them in buying feeds for ponies which are being kept at Mapal Kangjeibung and Hatta Kangjeibung.
Speaking to the media at Hatta Kangjeibung today, MP&PPWA general secretary Chongtham Ajit thanked the Government for giving a grazing space for ponies at Mapal Kangjeibung and Hatta Kangjeibung under the supervision of the Chief Minister.
Saying that there were 230 ponies at Hatta Kangjeibung earlier but the figure has dropped to 130 now, he added that 100 ponies were taken by the owners as there is not enough feed for them.
Further stating that they have been buying feeds for the ponies from Toubul in Bishnupur by collecting Rs 100 each from among its members, Ajit requested the Chief Minister to help them in buying the feeds.
