KFC, UCC triumph in Kakching 2nd Division Football League

IMPHAL, Jul 16 : Kakching Football Club (KFC), Kakching and Uyok Chingya Club (UCC), Kakching emerged victorious today in the third and fourth Group A matches of the ongoing 2nd Division Football League organised by DSA Kakching.
 KFC opened their Group A campaign with a narrow 1-0 win over Ideal Youth Association (IYA), Kakching courtesy of Sh Manithoiba's 62nd minute strike.
The two sides were on level pegging almost throughout the game but the second half goal made the difference at the end.
Later in the day, UCC who suffered a slender 0-1 opening game loss, thumped SRDC, Kakching 2-0 to earn the first three points.
N Ibotombi gave UCC a 1-0 first half lead as he found the target in the 10th minute before his compatriot Ksh Ronaldo netted the team's second in the 62nd minute.
PFC, Tokpaching will play TUC, Thongjao in the third Group B match tomorrow from 1 pm before KPSC meet KYWAC in the fourth Group B match from 3 pm.
