State Thang-Ta technical team to attend 18th Assam Thang-Ta C'ship

A technical team of Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association, Manipur led by Oja Hudirom Premkumar, technical chairman of Thang-Ta Federation of India, left Imphal for Assam this afternoon.
The team which include Oja Premkumar, Huidrom Kirankumar, Shagolshem Shyamananda, Nongmaithem Nabachandra and Maisnam Luwanganba Meitei will be attending and providing technical support in the 18th Assam Thang-Ta Championship-2024 beginning tomorrow under the aegis of Assam Thang-Ta Association at Don Bosco School, Silchar, Old Campus, Cachar.
Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association, Manipur in a statement said that Thang-Ta is gradually deepening its roots across the country even at block level.
The championship in Assam will help in preparing their contingent for the 30th National Junior Thang-Ta Championship due to be hosted by Madhya Pradesh, it said.
The 18th Assam Thang-Ta Championship-2024 will see players in sub-junior, junior and senior categories from across the State compete in Phunaba Ama, Phunaba Anishuba, Thang-Haiba, Thanglon and Khonglon Khutlon events, it added.
