SBI Quiz Wiz Competition conducted

The State Bank of India (SBI) Regional Business Office-Imphal conducted the highly anticipated SBI Quiz Wiz Competition on the occasion of State Bank Day today at GP Women’s College, Imphal.
According to a release issued by SBI, the event saw enthusiastic participation from 28 teams representing various schools across the region, showcasing their intellectual prowess and competitive spirit.
In a closely contested battle of wits, Nirmalabas High School, Imphal represented by Biroda Toijam, Keolita Kh and Derina Ngangom emerged as the winner with an impressive team score of 135 points.
Ramkrishna Mission, Imphal, represented by Soubam Yaithoi, Gogeesh Chabungbam and Manish Nepram, secured the second position with a commendable score of 120 points.
Eastern Ideal High School, Imphal represented by B Barlin Sharma, Luchingba Keisham and Keisham Yaiphabi followed in third place with 90 points, and Regular English High School, Imphal represented by S Victoria Chanu, Valentina Laishram and Liklai Chingsubam took the fourth position with a score of 80 points.
The competition was expertly conducted by Quiz Master Kenedy Ningthoujam, who ensured the event was engaging and challenging for all participants. The quiz covered a wide range of topics, testing the knowledge and quick thinking of the young contestants.
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Samir Kant Jha, Deputy General Manager, State Bank of India, Shillong Module; Khumukcham Okendro Singh, Regional Manager, State Bank of India Regional Business Office-Imphal; and L Radhakanta, Registrar, Manipur Cultural University and Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel, Government of Manipur.
Their presence and encouraging words inspired the participants and added to the prestige of the competition.
The SBI Quiz Wiz Competition is part of the State Bank of India's ongoing efforts to promote educational excellence and encourage intellectual development among students. The event provided a platform for young minds to demonstrate their knowledge and compete in a healthy, competitive environment.
The Regional Business Office-Imphal extended heartfelt congratulations to all the participating teams for their outstanding performance and sportsmanship.
