IMPHAL, Jun 30 : KMSWC, Keirak fought back from a goal down to score a 2-1 win over SAO, Kakching today in the ongoing 21st Ksh Leihao Devi Memorial Super Division Football League Tournament 2024.
SAO made a good start stringing a series of runs against their Keirak rivals and their efforts paid off in the 12th minute with L Dingku finding the target at DSA ground, Kakching. KMSWC were also not behind in making attempts and made their way back into the game with Boicha hitting the equaliser in the 19th minute.
After the two sides entered the break with the score split at 1-1, Boicha was at it again in the 55th minute to turn things around. KMSWC then overcame SAO fightback to see out the game with the same scoreline.
 SAO are third on 12 points behind YWU and SWC-W despite the result but it has dented their hopes of making it to the top two positions in the 8-team tournament organised by District Sports Association, Kakching. Meanwhile, KMSWC continued to remain fifth on 9 points off 6 matches.
