Kakching 1st Divn FootballJA rout AKSA 4-0 to end campaign with only win

IMPHAL, Jun 30 : JA, Kakching handed AKSA, Kakching Khunou a 4-0 defeat to end their winless run in their last league match of the 20th KK Memorial 1st Division Football League Tournament organised by DSA Kakching.
JA, having lost four of four matches in the 6-team tournament were unstoppable today to overwhelm AKSA 4-0 after enjoying a slender 1-0 first half lead.
AKSA who had won thrice in the last four matches conceded were put in the backfoot when Ksh Shyamson netted two minutes into the added time before the half time (40+2').
After the restart, JA continued to press hard and doubled their advantage through N Beichung in the 69th minute before N Rajen made it 3-0 after 77 minutes and forced AKSA to toil hard to reduce the margin.
As AKSA failed to make the most of their chances, N Rajen dealt a further blow by scoring his second and JA's fourth three minutes into the stoppage time.
Despite the result, AKSA remain third on 9 points while JA are at the bottom spot with 3 points.
DYA, Elangkhangpokpi will face AIFA, Irengband in the next match on July 3.
