IMPHAL, Jun 30: Creation of Separate Administration or any other political settlement of the Kuki issue would not be acceptable to the Naga MLAs of Manipur if it infringes upon Naga areas, said one Naga MLA.
Notably, four teams of the ruling MLAs are currently stationed at Delhi seeking an appointment with the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister.
The three teams include a team of the Naga Legislator Forum led by Awangbow Newmai and a group of the 10 Kuki MLAs.
The other two are led by MLA RK Imo and MLA Thokchom Radheshyam.
The team led by Radheshyam has been at Delhi since some days back.
The 10 Kuki MLAs are also at Delhi seeking appointments with the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister.
Talking to The Sangai Express over phone, the Naga MLA said that all the three teams have been seeking appointments with the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister.
The 10 Naga MLAs of Manipur Legislative Assembly are SS Olish (Chandel AC), Leishiyo Keishing (Phungyar AC), Ram Muivah (Ukhrul AC), Khashim Vashum (Chingai AC), J Kumo Sha (Karong AC), Losii Dikho (Mao AC), N Kayisii (Tadubi AC), Awangbow Newmai (Tamei AC), Janghemlung Panmei (Tamenglong AC) and Dinganglung Gangmei (Nungba AC).
The Naga MLA said that all of them are currently at Delhi.
The 10 MLAs sat together at Manipur Bhavan, Delhi today and drafted a memorandum which would be submitted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah as and when they meet with the two Central leaders.
The points listed in the memorandum are very clear. It says that the Naga peace process must be concluded based on the Framework Agreement at the earliest and no Naga area should be infringed upon in working out a political solution for the Kukis, the Naga MLA  conveyed while speaking to The Sangai Express.
