BRICS Games fencing medallist Thoungamba returns to warm reception

IMPHAL, Jun 28 : Fencer Laishram Thoungamba returned to a warm reception as he landed here at Bir Tikendrajit International Airport after earning India a bronze medal at 2024 BRICS Games.
 WEYA Club and Waithou Meira Paibi Lup led the reception of Laishram Thoungamba who won the bronze medal in the team epee event at the games which was held from June 11 to 24 in Kazan, Russia. Thoungamba was born to Laishram Jiten and Laishram Ongbi Sanahan Leima of Waithou Keithel.
