Spt DC holds security coordination meet

SENAPATI, Apr 23 (DIO)
The DEO/DC of Senapati Mamoni Doley chaired a security coordination meeting today at DC Conference Hall of Senapati in connection with the second phase of the 18th Lok Sabha election.
During the meeting, discussion on various matters regarding dispersal, receiving, movement of quick response team and striking team and all other law and order related matters were conducted to ensure free, fair, and smooth conduct of election.
The DEO instructed the members present to gender sensitize those who will be deployed at female manned polling stations.
The meeting was held in the presence of SP Senapati, ADSPs, SDO/SDMs, SIB and commanders of all the Central Paramilitary forces deployed in Senapati. Later, under the supervision of S Lunguiba Thangal (SDO Senapati/ Nodal Officer for Training Management), the Sector Officers of three Assembly segments were given training to make the polling exercise free and fair.
