Connecting road inaugurated at RIMS

IMPHAL, Mar 7
A new "Connecting Road of First and Second Campus" was inaugurated today at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal by Prof G Sunil Kumar Sharma, Director, RIMS, Imphal.
The inaugural function was graced by Prof N Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital, Imphal; RK  Mecolt Singh, Deputy Director (Administration), RIMS, Imphal; Sairem Sarat Singh, CAO/FA, RIMS, Imphal; Prof H Jamuna Devi, Principal, College of Nursing, RIMS, Imphal and Dr B Praveen Reddy, Principal, Dental College, RIMS, Imphal.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof G Sunil Kumar stated that the new connecting road is dedicated to the public, staff and faculty especially to students.
He shared that the new road will connect the old campus of RIMS with the new campus which will directly shorten the distance.
Appreciating the Engineering Cell, RIMS, Imphal for handing over the completed work within 2 months, the Director said that footpaths will be constructed and street lights will also be installed for the new roads at the earliest.  
Prof G Sunil Kumar further appealed to the Engineering Cell both Civil and Electrical section to work hard for future development of RIMS, Imphal.    
All the HODs, faculties, EE, Engineering Department, RIMS, Imphal, staff, students and officials of RIMS, Imphal also attended the event.
