Manipur and Nagaland Sector Headquarters CRPF wins first position for implementation of Hindi language

Manipur and Nagaland Sector Headquarters CRPF Imphal has achieved a milestone by securing the first position in implementation of official language Hindi for the year 2022-23 amongst the 2500 Central Government offices in the North-East region.
The office of Manipur and Nagaland Sector Headquarters CRPF Imphal has been able to achieve this milestone under the leadership of Akhilesh Prasad Singh, IG, said a press release by the DIG, M&N Sector, CRPF, Imphal.
Nishith Pramanik, Union Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs and Minister of State of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports presented the Rajbhasha Shield to R Duidang, DIG (Administration) and certificate to Jitendra Singh, AC (OL) of this office on March 8, 2024 in Regional Official Language Conference organized at Siliguri, West Bengal.
Besides the above achievement, M & N Sector, CRPF is also in the race of securing first position amongst the 65 Central Government offices situated in Imphal City under Town Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC).
Notably, Jitendra Singh, Hindi Officer along with all senior officers and staff of Manipur and Nagaland Sector Headquarters CRPF Imphal have made dedicated efforts for the last two years in improving the official work in Hindi language. The percentage of Hindi work in Manipur and Nagaland Sector Office CRPF has increased from 65 percent to 81.67 percent from 2021 to 2023, the release said.
