1st Chief Minister and 14th Loktak Trophy begins in Moirang

IMPHAL, Mar 10 : The 1st Chief Minister and 14th Loktak Trophy 2023-24 organised by AMOFA, Moirang kicked off today at Chengei Lampak, Moirang this afternoon.
The tournament participated by 12 teams clubbed into four groups is sponsored by NHPC Ltd, Loktak Power Station.
The opening day of the tournament saw FC Raengdai securing a 2-0 win over Sainik FC in a Group C fixture.
The winning goals for FC Raengdai came up in the first half itself with Shitaljit beating the Sainik FC back to back in the 26th and the 30th minutes.
SSU will play ESU in the next match (Group A) tomorrow at the same venue. The match starts at 2 pm.
