Blood donation camp held

IMPHAL, Feb 29
The Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch, in collaboration with the Youth Red Cross, NSS, and UBA Cell organised a voluntary blood donation camp at T S Paul Manipur Women’s College (TSPMWC), Mongshangei on Wednesday. The event organised in association with the NSS Cell of Kamakhya Pemton College and Kanba Apunba Lup, Mongshangei, saw the participation of about 40 donors, selflessly contributing to the well-being of the community.
According to a release issued by TSPMWC, the camp was conducted with the aim to promote the spirit of voluntary blood donation, emphasizing the importance of collective action for the greater good.
Before the blood donation program, field experts also conducted an awareness session, educating donors and public about the significance of voluntary blood donation, life-saving impact, and ongoing need for such contributions to maintain an adequate blood supply.
