Dr Anupam Mishra conferred ‘Life Time Achievement Award’

IMPHAL, Feb 24 : Dr Anupam Mishra, Vice Chancellor, Central Agricultural University, Imphal, has been conferred the prestigious ‘Life Time Achievement Award’ by the International Society of Extension Education during the National Conference on "Next Generation Agriculture, organic and natural farming pathways: extension strategies and approaches" held at ICAR-ATARI, Jabalpur.
The ‘Life Time Achievement Award’ was conferred in recognition of Dr Mishra’s exceptional contribution to the field of agricultural extension and his unwavering dedication to empowering rural communities in North East and other parts of India.
The International Society of Extension Education, a leading global forum for extension education professionals acknowledged Dr Mishra’s illustrious career spanning over four decades.
Throughout his journey, Dr Mishra has spearheaded numerous initiatives that have significantly impacted the lives of farmers and rural population.
His vision and leadership have played a significant role in advancing sustainable farming methods and fostering knowledge-based development in rural areas of the country.
