Killed in mishap

THOUBAL, Feb 15 : One person was killed while another sustained injury on his left thigh in a road mishap near Kakching Lamkhai today at around 10 am.
The deceased has been identified as Md Sariff (20), s/o Md Abdul Rahaman of Sora Makha Leikai and the injured is Md Sameer (17), s/o Jiualhaque of the same locality.
According to a report culled from the spot, the deceased and the injured were coming from Kakching side in a KTM bike and the vehicle they were travelling collided with a Tata DI coming from Sora side. The injured was given first aid at Jeevan Hospital before being referred to Shija Hospitals.
The Tata DI belongs to one JB Koko of Lamkang Kunyai in Chandel and the vehicle was driven by one JB Beshwa (25) of the same locality.
