IMPHAL, Feb 10: BJP Manipur Pradesh has claimed that BJP alone will win over 370 seats in the forthcoming Lok Sabha election which is likely to be held in April.
Speaking to media persons at their Nityaipat Chu- thek office here today, BJP Manipur Pradesh spokesman M Asnikumar claimed that BJP and its allies will win over 400 seats in the Lok Sabha election and Narendra Modi will be back as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive term.
Commenting on the Union Budget 2024 which was tabled in the Parliament recently, M Asnikumar who is also the Chairman of Loktak Development Authority (LDA) said that a number of incomplete projects were completed after a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government was formed at the Centre with Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister in 2014.
The NDA Government brought remarkable development across the country including the North East region and it stopped wastage of money from the public exchequer, the BJP spokesman said.
With every project completed in time, India has now emerged as a leading country in the world, said the BJP spokesman.
Before 2014 when the UPA Government was there at the Centre, the country was in complete mess. The UPA Government was infamous for corruption, mismanagement and financial problems.
There were numerous scams pertaining to 2G, Commonwealth Games, coal block allocation, Antrix-Devas deal, Augusta Westland helicopter deal, Adarsh Housing Society scheme etc, he said.
The country’s economy which was in very bad shape has now revived.
With its focus on digital innovation and public health, the NDA Government successfully brought back huge amounts of black money stashed in foreign countries, Asnikumar said.
Consequent upon the economic reform programmes initiated by the NDA Government, many big interna- tional investors have turned their attention to India, he said.  It is a matter of pride for the whole country that the Modi Government has successfully increased the country’s foreign exchange reserves to USD 620 billion.
In the meantime, the country has seen massive changes in defence sector, infrastructure and National security, he continued.
With the introduction of StartUp and MUDRA schemes, the NDA Government has greatly benefited economically weaker sections of the society.
By ensuring transparency  in the financial sector, the Modi Govt has won people’s faith and confidence, he said.
Union Budget 2024 focuses more on the poor, youth, women and farmers and it would certainly boost the country’s growth, he claimed.
The budget also lays emphasis on the eastern re- gion’s infrastructure, tourism, logistics and research innovation, Asnikumar remarked. He went on to claim that India would become a global superpower in every field by 2047.
