Meghachandra appointed

IMPHAL, Dec 29 : Former Director of DIPR Meghachandra Kongbam has been appointed as a member of the Executive Committee (EC) of the Indian Chapter of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) for the period January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026.
During a meeting held today, VK Joseph from Kerala was appointed as the president, Premendra Mazumder from West Bengal the general secretary, GP Ramachandran from Kerala as the treasurer and six others including Meghachandra Kongbam as members of the EC, said a press release issued by FIPRESCI.
Altogether, nine persons form the EC.
The Academic Council (AC) of FIPRESCI- India was also reconstituted for the same period with the appointment of six office bearers.
Additionally, the Editorial Board for publication of the quarterly film journal E-Cine-India was formed during the meeting comprising five members and an Editor.
