IMPHAL, Dec 28 : Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker Th Satyabrata Singh has condoled the demise of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.
Dr Manmohan Singh was a distinguished economist and a true statesman. His visionary leadership during the economic crisis of 1991 steered India towards a path of economic rejuvenation and self-reliance. His tenure as the Prime Minister was marked by significant reforms and initiatives that have left an indelible mark on the Nation’s development, the Speaker said in his condolence message.
Satyabrata further extended deepest condolences to Dr Singh’s family, friends and admirers.
