SNC beat BKCC by 4 wickets in Veteran Cricket Tournament

IMPHAL, Dec 27 : SNC, Sangaiprou defeated BKCC, Bamon Kampu by 4 wickets in a Group A match of the ongoing 21st Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament.
Bishorjit played a pivotal role in SNC's victory today after two successive losses as fetched four wickets to set up BKCC collapse at 165 in 29.1 overs before contributing highest 39 in the chase.
BKCC had a stuttering start after winning the toss and opting to bat first but Riyajuddin provided some hope midway by adding 69 runs. Bocha also added 23 before they slumped to 165 all out in 29.1 overs as Bishorjit 4/36, Ronelkumar 2/30 and Ranendrajit 2/4 were clinical in their approach.
Rajesh also added unbeaten 34 and Thawainganba added 37 as SNC cruised to winning 166/6 in 29.3 overs.
Pravin (2/23) claimed two wickets for BKCC as four others picked a wicket apiece.
Bishorjit was eventually adjudged player of the match.
