CPI centenary

IMPHAL, Dec 27: The centenary celebration of CPI was opened yesterday at GM Hall here with CPI Manipur State Council Central Control Commission chairman comrade Langol Iboyaima, Central Control Commissioner member comrade Dr M Nara, CPI Manipur State Council secretary comrade L Thoiren and CPI Manipur State Council former Secretary comrade L Sotinkumar as presidium members.
It is said that the 100th anniversary of the establishment of CPI would be celebrated for a whole year till December 26, 2025 with the main objective of reinvigorating and strengthening the party.
The main highlight of the opening function was offering of floral tributes to all those leaders who were killed in the course of the communist movement.
