N Premjit clinches men's singles title in State Open Tennis Championship

IMPHAL, Dec  24 : N Premjit sealed the men's singles title in the 43rd State Open Cash Prize Tennis Championship organised by Manipur Tennis Association at Officers' Club Tennis Complex, Lamphelpat.
N Premjit got the better of T Brojendro 6-3, 6-4 in the final clash today to seal the top honour.
Notably, N Premjit reached the final yesterday with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Becker as Brojendro picked up an identical win against W Padmeshwor in another semi-final match.
Yesterday, Irungbam Yoimayai clinched the U-12 boys singles title by defeating Arnav 6-4, 6-3 while RK Valeska claimed the girls title by defeating Asem Shelza 6-2, 7-5.
