Saruk FC, Mukhai FC win in 2nd Dabang Trophy

IMPHAL, Dec  24 : Mukhai FC and  Saruk FC posted contrasting wins in today's group B and C matches of the ongoing 2nd Dabang Trophy at ASSA ground, Sangaiyumpham.
In the Group B league match staged this afternoon, Mukhai FC trounced Nitro FC 5-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Th Premjit (8', 11', 19') and a brace from A Prithviraj (40', 41').
Later in the Group C league match, Saruk FC, Changamdabi edged 2-1 past NESU FC, Sangaiyumpham 2-1 thanks to a double from Nawaj (9', 51'). The lone goal for NESU was scored by Basanta in the 33rd minute of the match.
