MPCC greets

IMPHAL, Dec 24 : The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee has extended warm greetings to the people of Manipur, especially the Christian community, on the joyous occasion of Christmas.
A press release issued by Keisham Meghachandra, president, MPCC urged people to play the role of peacemaker while quoting the Bible verse "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God".
With the arrival of Christmas, the MPCC press note encouraged people to work towards the goal of restoring peace in the State and engage only in peaceful activities and thus follow God's teachings.
As said in the Bible, "peacemakers" who champion love, advocate for dialogue/conversations between people and restoration of normalcy in Manipur will be deemed "children of God", said the press note.
"Irrespective of religion, be it Christianity, Hinduism, Islam or Sanamahism, if people work towards bringing peace then they are successfully spreading the message of God and peace will surely be restored in Manipur", expressed MPCC.
It further expressed hope that Christmas 2024 will bring prosperity to every household and all communities in Manipur.
