Arms, ammos seized

IMPHAL, Dec 24 : Security forces seized arms and ammunition during search operations and area domination exercises in Chura- chandpur and Imphal East district yesterday.
The seized items include cordtex (40 metres), nine IED with nine detonators, one non-electric commercial detonator and safety fuse (30 cm) from Leisang village in Churachandpur, said a statement issued by the Police Control Room.
From Teijang village in the same district, security personnel recovered three rockets, one .303 Rifle with magazine, four pistols with magazine, one Pompi, five Pompi bombs, forty-five sticks of low grade explosives, fourteen detonators, seven 7.65mm pistol ammunition, ten 9mm pistol ammunition, one .303 Rifle ammunition and three SLR ammunition
Additionally, the forces seized one 7.62mm LMG with magazine, one 12 Bore Single Barrel Gun, one 9mm pistol with magazine, two hand grenades with two arm rings, two Tube Launchers, thirty 7.62mm LMG ammunition, two 12 Bore cartridges, two 9mm ammunition and two sacks (white and yellow) from Ngariyan hill range along Sandangsemba Maring village in Imphal East district.
