Fire ravages house

IMPHAL, Dec 23: The upper storey of a house located at Mahabali Kabui Khul, Imphal East district under Porompat police station was ravaged by a fire at around 6.15 pm today.
As fire tenders rushed in immediately on getting information about the fire and fought hard to contain it, the fire did not cause any substantial damage to neighbouring houses and structures.
It is suspected that the fire was caused by electric short circuit.
