MPCC to observe Ambedkar Samman

IMPHAL, Dec 23 : The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee has instructed all District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents to organise the Babasaheb Ambedkar Samman March on December 24 in every district, as directed by the All India Congress Committee (AICC).
The notice issued by MPCC also enclosed a memorandum, provided by the AICC, to be submitted to President Droupadi Murmu through the respective Deputy Commissioners during/after the march.
As per AICC directive, the march will begin with the garlanding of Dr Ambedkar's statue and submission of memorandum. It also instructed the participants to carry placards with Dr Ambedkar's picture and slogans demanding an apology from Amit Shah and his termination from the Union Cabinet.
