CM to attend passing out parade

IMPHAL, Dec 22 : Chief Minister N Biren, a number of Ministers and MLAs would be attending the passing out parade of the new recruits of 10th and 11th IRB battalions who have undergone training at Lachit Borphukan Police Training Academy, Deragaon, Assam.
Chief Minister N Biren and a number of Cabinet Ministers and MLAs would leave Imphal International Airport for Silchar Airport at 9 am tomorrow in a chartered flight to attend the passing out parade, sources said.
The passing out parade which would be held tomorrow morning would be graced by Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya who is also in charge of Manipur as the chief guest.
Around 1915 new recruits of 10th and 11th IRB battalions who have completed training would take part in tomorrow’s passing out parade.
The Chief Minister and his team will return to Imphal tomorrow itself in the same chartered flight.
N Biren who took part in the 72nd plenary session of the North Eastern Council held at Agartala returned to Imphal at around 2 pm today.
