BSF man kills self

IMPHAL, Dec 22: A Head Constable of BSF shot himself to death with his own service weapon at around 7.10 am today.
The Head Constable belonging to A-Coy, 26th Battalion BSF was posted at a temporary BSF camp opened inside a commando complex at Keirak, Kakching district.
A gun shot was heard inside the commando complex at around 7.10 am today.
As fellow jawans checked the source of the gun shot, the Head Constable identified as Sunil Kumar Hooda (46) s/o Bilvir of Kiloi village, Haryana was found dead, sources said.
Police have deposited the body of Sunil Kumar Hooda at JNIMS morgue after the spot where he was found dead was inspected by a team of Forensic Science experts.
Meanwhile a case has been registered at Kakching police station in connection with the incident.
