Santosh Trophy : Manipur play out goalless draw with West Bengal

Imphal, Dec 21 : Manipur played out a goalless draw with West Bengal in a Group B final round match of the 78th National Football championship for Santosh Trophy tonight at Deccan Arena, Hyderabad.
Manipur, who have beaten Services and Rajasthan earlier, dominated both the halves but lack of finesse and determined West Bengal defenders prevented them from going ahead.
West Bengal too had few close chances but Manipur's custodian Salam Sanaton was up to the task to fend off all threats.
Manipur, who are unbeaten in four games, will play hosts Telangana in the last final round match on December 23. The match starts at 2.30 pm at Deccan Arena.
