IMPHAL, Nov 8 : At least 13 Manipur Police Service cadres have been promoted to Indian Police Service (IPS) cadres and allocated to Manipur Cadre.
The promoted officers, according to notification issued by Under Secretary to the Government of India Sanjeev Kumar, include Lenin Lamabam, Thokchom Vikramjit Singh, Khoisnam Sarma Devi, Hopson Sapam, Victoria Yengkhom, Heisnam Balram Singh, Watham Bashu Singh, Sarda Laishram, Dhanapiyari Devi Bishnulatpam, Wahengbam Singhajeet Singh, Rashini Yengkhom, Polem Manjit Singh and K Meghachandra Singh.
The cadres of Manipur Police Service were promoted to IPS cadres against vacancies determined by the Government of India for select list year 2020 to 2023, said the notification.
