Tennis : Bushan Haobam and Shanker Heisnam pair lift title

IMPHAL, Nov 7: Even as Bushan Haobam and Shanker Heisnam are coming face to face tomorrow for the singles title, the two have won the doubles title of the AITA Men's 1 Lakh National Ranking Tennis Tournament Imphal 2024.
In the doubles final today, Bushan Haobam and Shanker Heisnam beat the duo of A Anshuman and Anshumat 6-3, 2-3 to win the title.
The singles final between Bushan Haobam and Shanker Heisnam will be played at 8.35 am at Officers' Club, Lamphelpat, Imphal tomorrow.
In the semifinals today, Bushan Haobam beat Rakesh Vimal 6-4, 6-1, and Shanker Heisnam beat Anish Prashanth 6-2, 6-3.
The final match of the men's Open Singles, organised by the Manipur Tennis Association will be attended by Director MANIRADA and Additional Chief Election Officer, N Praveen Singh and MATA president H Ibomtombi Singh.
