FC Raengdai reach Assam Tourney final on second foundation day

Tamenglong, Nov 6 : Noney based FC Raengdai scripted a historic 2-1 semi-final victory against North East United FC to reach the final of the 33rd Captain Nalini Mohan Gupta Memorial Invitation Football Tournament underway at SM Dev Stadium in Silchar, Assam today.
The historic win that fired FC Raengdai into the final in their first ever appearance in the prestigious tournament came on the team's second foundation day. Saagar (30') and Bikramjit (42') were on target in FC Raengdai's win.
Rojen Meitei was also declared man of the match.
The final match is slated for November 11.
Prof Angam Gangmei, president of FC Raengdai, congratulated the players, patrons and well wishers over the milestone the club achieved today.
