THOUBAL, Nov 5: Congress Party’s Lok Sabha Member Dr Angomcha Bimol Akoijam was felicitated by District Block Congress Committee, Thoubal today.
The felicitation function held at the District Block Congress Committee office, Thoubal Athokpam was participated by BCC, Thoubal president N Lukhoi, vice-president Kh Muhindro, District Mahilla Congress Committee president L Nganbi Devi, Congress workers from Wangkhem AC, Thoubal AC and Lilong AC.
Speaking at the gathering, Dr Angomcha Bimol Akoijam said he felt elated on seeing the warm reception.
He pledged that he would continue working to achieve his goal of contesting the Lok Sabha election and fulfilling the aspirations of the people. Noting that social discipline and manners are breaking down in Manipuri society, the Congress MP stressed the need to correct this social malady.
