Ziontlang SYC, Damjol YC emerge Chandel 1st and 2nd Division Football League winners

IMPHAL, Nov 5 : Ziontlang SYC and Damjol YC emerged champions respectively in the DC Chandel First Division and Second Football League for the year 2024.
Damjol YC earned the 2nd Division title this afternoon at Ziontlang ground with a slender 1-0 win against Chakpikarong Youth Club.
The lone goal that sealed the fate of Damjol YC was scored by Rengtinson in the 12th minute of the match.
Later in the title clash of the 1st Division Football League participated by 7-teams, Ziontlang SYC thrashed Khongjon YC 3-0 to earn promotion to the Super Division tier.
Mk Renglien scored twice as Pr Lungir added one in Ziontlang SYC's win.
