IMPHAL, Nov 4 : Manipuri Diaspora Bengaluru (MDB), expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister of Manipur, N Biren Singh on the recent appointment of Liaison Officer, Rajesh A.M, IFS (MN-2013), Deputy Conservator of Forests, Climate Change, Biodiversity and Medical Plants, Manipur for the people of Manipur in Bangalore.
The decision to appoint Liaison Officer reflects the government's commitment to ensuring the well being and support of Manipuri residents living outside the state, especially in a city as diverse and bustling as Bangalore, said a release issued by Manipur Diaspora Bengaluru.
The appointment of a Liaison officer will undoubtedly facilitate effective communication, foster a stronger sense of community, and provide essential assistance to our people, particularly in times of need, it said.
The MDB further stated that this initiative will strengthen the bond between the residents of Manipur in Bangalore and the government back home and look forward to closely working together for the welfare and unity of the people.
